Help Your Child Improve Self-Regulation, Motivation & Behaviors

Take Charge of Me™ is a fun and helpful online program proven to help elementary students learn vital skills to become more self-directed, motivated, focused and confident. 

It's fun and easy for students to work on this engaging program from their home device. Your child will be guided through short lessons 2X week that teaches them to take charge of their emotions and behaviors, boosting self-regulation, coping skills, and calm. Parents find their children gain the vital skills they need to get through big emotions without a meltdown.

A Proven Resource to Improve Wellbeing

Your school district has vetted this at home program – and is now offering families an opportunity to enroll their child(ren) in EmpowerU. The program is easy-to-use and affordable -- combining online skill-building lessons with 1:1 instructor support that helps students make progress on their goals. Specific program delivery is outlined below.

Over 90% of students that complete EmpowerU report feeling better and doing better - in just weeks. As a goal-oriented program, your child will learn strategies and skills to help them meet goals and make lasting change.  

1. Access: Your child will access their lessons from the online myempoweru portal - working independently on a device. Each 15–20 minute lesson is fun and engaging - and all about them. EmpowerU lessons use videos and questions to help them apply what they learn to their goals.  There is an option for text to speech.  Children should be able to complete lessons independently.
2. Daily Work: Your child will complete 2 lessons each week over a 6-week period - 12 lessons total. EmpowerU will send reminder emails to them twice per week to help your student remember to log on and dig in.
3. Support: EmpowerU trained instructors will provide daily online coaching that helps your child connect the concepts in each lesson to their life and goals. This provides 1:1 support that students need to take charge of their emotions and behaviors, boosting motivation, engagement, and success— with lasting results. 
4. Monitor: As a parent/caregiver, you will have a log-in to a live dashboard where you can monitor your child's progress and see a weekly update on how they are doing!
5. Expectations: Make a plan with your child about where and when they will complete this important work to becoming the best version of themselves.
